Introducing Isa, Urban OM’s Embodied Therapy Education guide to our being and body
“When we come from our mind, we create separation. This is good, this is bad, this is right, this is wrong.
And we can fight like that forever with so many conflicts. My side, your side. When we come from our being and we come from our body, being and body is not separate. Being and body is connected.
It’s sensitive. It’s so sensitive. We as human beings have such an incredible sensitivity and empathy when we are connected to ourselves.
And my feeling or what I know is that yoga therapy really helps us connect not just through our mind but through our whole full human physical experience of this body that we’re living in.
And when we are connected to our body, even our fingertips have a way of sensing, even our skin can sense the air that is around us. And that, if we can embrace that in ourselves, we are also less prone to create the separation outside of ourselves.
If we not stop that inner fight, that conflict that is constantly going on, we’re not so attracted to create conflict outside. And I think we really need that.
We need people who are willing to be vulnerable, to people that are willing to feel their feelings, people that are willing to say, ‘I’m sorry, I was wrong‘. Thank you.”
