Sleep Recovery Training

Learn effective yoga practices to help people sleep better: together we can reverse the rising tide of insomnia that has swept through our culture.

OVERVIEW

WHAT

Learn effective yoga practices to help people sleep better: together we can reverse the rising tide of insomnia that has swept through our culture.

You’ll gain the knowledge and practices that will enable you to teach Sleep Recovery yoga classes, courses and one-to-ones to help relieve insomnia and help people get their best possible sleep.

The Sleep Recovery 5 Steps are specific and holistic: including simple asana, pranayama, meditation, mantra, marma points that are accessible to all.

You’ll also learn how to consult with students and clients to discover their Sleep Type, and promote healthier sleep habits, getting to the roots of their sleeplessness. You’ll assess and address the 5 layers of the physical, energetic, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects of Sleep Recovery.

HIGHLIGHTS

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

On Day 1 you will learn the principles of Yoga Therapy for Insomnia and Sleep Recovery and begin practicing the tools right away.

Day 2 will involve the science of sleep and the ways in which the Sleep Recovery practices interact with the sleep cycle and daily rhythms, and your teaching practice begins, as well as a case-study approach to working with individuals.

Day 3 will be an opportunity for you to learn how this information can be taught in an open environment. You will therefore be observing, practising and assisting a live group of people as part of an integrated learning experience.

On days 4 and 5 you will be back with your original group to review and deepen your understanding of the practices and principles and learn how to apply them as a teacher in your work with students and clients. The knowledge assessment will take place on the last day.
