We were seeking a way of giving back to our wonderful community, and so Community Yoga was born. These Yoga classes are completely FREE of charge and lead by one of our Yoga School Graduates. We encourage all levels to come as you are, whoever you are. At Urban OM we hold the belief that Yogic practices should be accessible to everyone, perhaps you do not have the means to subscribe for a membership or you simply feel called to visit the studio, whatever the motivation – we welcome you to join us in this beautiful karmic exchange.

RUN, FLOW, LET GO weaves together uplifting, chal-lenging and energizing movements designed to strengthen your body and improve your cardio health. Inspired by tabata and the tri-activity fitness format, each life affirming session has three rounds and each round has three stages. Stage 1. RUN cardio energising exercises based on the essentials of running. Stage 2. FLOW yoga-inspired movement linked to the breath. Stage 3. LET GO techniques to express & release pent up energy.
Set off on a journey with the opportunity to meet yourself on the ground, in your body, finding your rhythm and listening to your own pulse. In this Morning LET GO expect to move through layers of relaxation and movement as the waves of sound enliven the depths of your being until you are wide AWAKE.
The breath is the only automatic function that we can easily control and through it we can access and influence other internal bodily functions, including our nervous system, to improve our physical, mental & emotional lives.
Breath work has a powerful and immediate impact on the body and mind. Even simple awareness of our inhale and exhale can change our state. By diving deep into breath work we access new dimensions of self.
Breath work techniques are amazing, transformative tools for healing and wellness.
Sound healing is a perfect way to round of the journey.
Yoga movement flow is a new way of challenging your body. It is a safe, slow and strongly physical class designed to bring more balance to your body and mind. It will help your body restore itself and reduce the risk of future injury. During the class you will work on opening areas of the body such as the hips and shoulders while maintaining joint stability and steadiness of movement. Mateusz uses the basic principles of Organic Movement to help you tune into your own body and invite more grace and fluidity into your yoga flow. Enjoy as you work through the whole body in flowing movements.
Meet yourself where you are. This class is an exploration of your self practice and inner guidance. An invitation to dive deep into your own being and share a safe space with others. An open and allowing space where everything is welcomed. We drop the performance of identifications to free our soul essence into full aliveness. We move through meditative inquiries, tune in with mantra, flow through an embodied self practice that ends in a long rest, integration and self reflection. Hands-on assistance is available with your consent. Improflow is a space to be in the body, be real, be together and transform from within. Open for everyone.
Guided movement and breathing techniques unlock stiff shoulders, chests and loosen the back and spine. We’ll find space to expand our breath while we open the heart and lungs both physically and metaphorically. This practice energizes the body to access mind and heart. Each class will start with a flowing warm up, then we will explore movement, yoga asanas and breathing ending with a meditative gong Savasana.

Whatever you like, preferably comfy and stretchy clothes and bare feet.
Not much as mats, blocks, bolsters, blankets etc you can borrow at Urban OM. Towels can be rented and are included in our Full ON membership.
Keep a respectful voice level, bring nothing into the room, leave your phone and personal belongings safely stored in one of our lockers.
Be respectful of each others space, stay with yourself, let your focus be within.

We invite you to focus on being present and experience your own body rather than performing and achieving. Yoga is an inside exploration.
Make sure to drink water or have a cup of tea, we invite you. And you can buy coconut water, kombucha and juices.
It’s good to regulate your blood sugar after class, we have a small offering of vegetarian food from Dr Mat and bars to buy in our hang out area. Every morning there is overnight oats breakfast for 50kr (free for Full ON members).
Enjoy a hot shower in our locker rooms, or a sauna if you please.
