This one-year advanced training is designed for yoga teachers and professionals who want to deepen their personal practice while developing the confidence and skills to facilitate embodied group and class experiences.

Embodied Yoga Therapy Education combines trauma inform yoga, breathwork, meditation, embodiment, nervous system awareness and group facilitation to support both personal transformation and professional growth. Throughout the year, you will strengthen your ability to create safe, authentic and inspiring spaces where people can learn, connect and grow together.

This is a journey of self-discovery, grounded in the belief that the way we guide others begins with how we meet ourselves. Through practice, reflection, supervision and a supportive learning community, you will cultivate the presence, confidence and embodied skills needed to facilitate groups/classes with authenticity and integrity.

  • 1 Establishing group dynamics, relational field & foundations to embodied yoga therapy
APR 2027

Facilitated by  LISA, this module focuses on creating a safe environment and a bond between the participants as well as learning the skills of how to do so. During these initial days we will explore your own personal goals, understand the underpinning philosophy of Urban OM’s Embodied Yoga Therapy Approach and establish the group as a dynamic learning environment.

This module on breath work focuses on the transformative power of breath, where breathing serves as a physiological tool to influence mental and emotional states.

Focused on the energetic body, she facilitates groups and individual sessions. Committed to sharing her knowledge, ensuring others have the tools to delve into and navigate the realm of intuitive healing.

Annki is one of Sweden’s most experienced Kundalini teachers with 28 years of experience in Kundalini yoga, Ayurveda & Dharma. Her teachings reflect a deep, holistic understanding of yoga. She is a certified Ayurvedic therapist, Pregnancy Yoga Teacher, Medi Yoga Teacher, Yoga Therapist, and Sat Nam Rasayan Healer, and founded the Stockholm Kundaliniyoga Center.

Bea is a SEP Certified Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, trained in Brainspotting, EMDR, Neuro affective Psychotherapy, and Gestalt therapy. She has ben working with trauma therapy for more than 20 years and is still curious to help the body out of trauma and back to it self.

AFTER THIS PROGRAM, YOU WILL…

  • Be eligible for the 500-hour Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT500) status with Yoga Alliance, reflecting your comprehensive training and expertise.

CERTIFICATION

Throughout the training, continuous assessment will take place. This entails observing how well you integrate the teachings shared, and how your newfound understanding is manifested in your practice, daily life, and teaching.

All students are expected to fully participate in every aspect and class of the course. Additionally, completion of assigned pre-course reading, assignments, and all homework during the course is mandatory.
