Golden Guru is yoga’s answer to Ironman! A conscious triathlon that will get you fitter for yoga and more flexible for running!
A gentle warning though, this challenge is not for everyone and so to get you crazy ones ready for the big event day we’ve put together a 10 week Transformational Training Plan that blends online and offline yoga with running and movement exercises.
Participate alone or rally up some friends and join as a team, taking part is Golden Guru is a re-awakening experience for your mind, body and soul!
And let’s face it, sometimes, you gotta blow your own damn mind and go the extra mile to be reminded of who you are!
The running, yoga and celebration will all take place in one day in the center of stunning STOCKHOLM and will last approximately 10 hours in total.
RUN (or WALK) – During the first stage we’ll trail run (or walk) 10 km in Hagaparken. All levels of fitness and speed will be accommodated.
FLOW – After running in nature we’ll gracefully (or tiredly!) move our bodies through 108 yoga Sun Salutations. Each sun salutation sequence comprises 12 yoga postures and takes around 2 minutes. Kundalini yoga breathing exercises will be added to the mix to spice up the flow!
LET GO – Then comes the finale, a dj-led 2 hour dance celebration where you will be encouraged to drop all effort, to move freely and let go into being!
This event follows the Covid-19 restrictions. We will be divided in small groups and keep the correct distance between each other during all activities.
